Add 160g self raising flour and 20g butter into Thermomix® Bowl and mix 6 secs/speed 6.
Add 40g golden syrup, milk and egg. Mix 7 secs/speed 3. The mix will just come together and be a tad sticky. With lightly floured hands, shape heaped teaspoons into ball, (don't fuss or handle too much), and place 4 cm apart onto the oiled Varoma® tray.
Place 500g water into Thermomix® Bowland place Varoma® in position. Steam 10 mins/Varoma® temp/speed 2.
Set Varoma® aside, clean and dry mixing bowl
Salted Caramel Sauce
Add all ingredients into the clean Thermomix® Bowl. Position Varoma® tray with dumplings in and steam/cook 7mins/Varoma® temp/speed 2.
Serve together while still warm with a splash of cream and enjoy!
