This Garlic & Lemon Cream Sauce is one of those magical recipes – it’s incredibly simple, yet full of rich, tangy, comforting flavour that elevates just about anything you pour it over. Especially great with Salmon!
1tspchicken stock paste(or half a chicken stock cube)
2tspchopped Dill
2 tspchopped chives
zest and juice of half lemon
40gramsfinely grated parmesan cheese
salt & pepper to season
Instructions
Add garlic, shallot and butter to Thermomix Bowl and chop 3 secs/speed 5. Scrape down sides of bowl.
Saute 3 mins/100℃/speed 1 - MC - (Measuring Cup) off, simmering basket on lid.
Add remaining ingredients (except parmesan) and cook 4 mins/90℃/speed 2 with MC off (use the simmering basket on top if splashing).
Add parmesan and cook for a further 4 mins/90℃/speed 2 with MC off (use the simmering basket on top if splashing). Taste and check seasoning, adjust with lemon, salt and pepper. If you want a thicker sauce, cook for a few minutes more 2 mins/90℃/speed 2 with MC off (use the simmering basket on top if splashing).
Notes
Parmesan - Grate before you start 10 secs speed 9.Herbs - chop before you start on turbo 30 secs,scrape down and repeat. Set aside.
