Is there anything better than the smell of fresh bread wafting through your kitchen? Flatbread is one of those simple pleasures—soft, warm, and versatile enough to pair with just about anything. And the best part? With your Thermomix®, making flatbread from scratch is ridiculously easy, fast, and fun!
Mix the dough:Add flour, yogurt, salt, and olive oil to mixing bowl.Mix 10 sec / speed 5 to combine.
Using the Dough mode, knead for 1 minute.
Rest the dough (optional but recommended):Remove dough, shape into a ball, cover with a damp cloth, ir wrap in plastic wrap.Let it rest for 15–30 minutes.
Divide and roll:Turn dough onto a floured surface and divide into 4.Roll each piece into a ball, then flatten and roll out into a thin round or oval shape (approx. 16cm)
Cook the flatbreads:Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. When hot add a flatbread.Shake off any excess flour and cook each flatbread for about 1–2 mins each side until golden spots appear and they puff slightly.Wrap cooked flatbreads in a clean towel while you cook the remainder.Wipe the pan after each flatbread to stop flour build up.Optional: Brush with garlic butter or olive oil when warm.
