Add milk, rice and salt to Thermomix bowl and cook 25 - 30mins/90℃/reverse/speed 1.5
Check rice and for doneness and if needed cook for a further 3 mins/90℃/reverse/speed 1.5
In a bowl, mix the egg. Add in about 1 cup of the hot rice while mixing through, (tempering). Then return to the Thermomix mixing bowl. Add sugar, cinnamon to taste and maple syrup. 1 minutes/90℃/reverse/speed 3.
Let rice sit for a couple of minutes, it will thicken. Then serve garnished as desired.
Notes
This recipe can be doubled but add a little more milk and cook for 30 mins.Please read additional notes in the blog post
